How We Rate
Our weighted editorial methodology for rating crypto payment gateways and wallets.
Editorial Rating
Each provider is scored 0–100 in eight categories by our editors: Security (20%), Pricing & Fees (15%), Features (15%), API & Integration (15%), Ease of Use (10%), Supported Assets (10%), Reputation (10%) and Customer Support (5%). The weighted average is divided by 10 — for example, 88/100 becomes 8.8/10.
User Rating
User ratings come only from moderated reviews submitted by registered users. They are shown separately and never blended into the editorial score.
Sponsored Placement
Companies can pay for clearly labeled placements such as Featured Partner or Sponsored. Payment never changes editorial scores or ranking order.
Overrides
Editors may adjust a ranking position only with a written internal explanation, which is recorded in our audit log.
